Now you shall want to begin at the end of this guard and over lay it onto the top and then just by sliding it underneath the first shingle, then just carefully press down onto its edges so to firmly push it back into place. There are many models that will require it to be screwed it in place.
Next thing is that you will need to do is to unroll the guard right along the length of your houses gutter and then carefully secure it with the same manner. This will require that you to descend your extension ladder. You shall need to move it periodically during this entire process.
Whenever installing any guard for gutters while using an extension ladder, be sure not to raise your ladder anywhere near or around a utility line. And if you do work around a utility line, be sure not to over reach while this utility line when working on the ladder. This job can be easily done providing you work with care so to protect yourself whenever doing any type of work on your home while on a ladder.
